HOUSEKEEPING Daily housekeeping is included in all of our room rates.
ROOM AMENITIES All of our rooms include private bathroom, TV, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker.
RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS Reservations can be made online or by contacting the office. All reservations require a deposit and may not be canceled within 72 hours of your arrival date. Online reservations do not reflect any group or organization discounts or seasonal specials which may be offered. Please inform our staff at check-in of any discounts that need to be applied to your reservation. Reservations made through 3rd party agents (Hotels.com, Orbitz, etc.) are guaranteed through those organizations and not by the motel. Please confirm your reservation with us directly prior to your stay. No minimum stay required, with the exception of "big" event weekends which require no less than a 2-day reservation. Contact the managers for any special accommodations.
CHECK IN/OUT Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm, and check-out is 11:00 am. If you will be checking in later than 9:00 pm, please make arrangements with the front desk. If your room has not been guaranteed with a credit card, you must contact us no later than 6:00 pm to prevent your room from being given to another guest.
RATES Our Place At The Beach offers a variety of rooms, from our ECONOMY ROOMS to our FAMILY and HOME-STYLE SUITES. Our rates may fluctuate depending on the season or availability during events throughout the year.
CASH POLICY For guests paying cash, a $100 refundable cash deposit or a $100 credit card authorization is required at check-in in addition to your room charge. The cash deposit will be refunded in full (or less incidentals) at check-out after an inspection of the room indicates there are no missing or damaged items. The card authorization is in effect for 3-5 business days.
PETS We are a pet friendly motel. However, the safety and enjoyment of all our guests takes priority over our willingness to allow pets. We ask that you keep your pets kenneled when you are not in the rooms and make every effort to prevent barking or whining caused by your absence. Refunds will not be given if you are asked to leave the property due to a pet disturbance. If a pet is left roaming free in the room, our housekeepers cannot enter the room to do daily housekeeping. There will be a $10 per pet/per day fee for guests bringing pets. Maximum 2 pets per room. See front desk for unusual circumstances. Not informing the front desk about a pet may result in a $200 fee charged to your account.
SMOKING There is no smoking allowed in the rooms. You may smoke outside and use the receptacles provided around the property. Please be courteous and do not smoke near open windows, other guest's rooms, or within 25 feet of the front office door (per Washington state law). A minimum $150 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in the rooms.
ITEMS MISSING FROM ROOMS Our housekeepers report items missing from the rooms which will be charged to your account upon discovery. Please help us keep our rates reasonable by leaving all items including towels, bedding, clocks, hangers, and furniture in the rooms.
DISTURBANCES ON THE PROPERTY Our management is not trained to handled domestic disturbances, overly intoxicated guests, vicious animals, or hostile threats from guests. However, they know how to use the phone really well and will call the POLICE for any of the above situations.
FAMILY, HOME-STYLE AND GREAT ROOM SUITES These units feature "mostly equipped" kitchens. Due to requirements by the health department, some dishware is simply not viable to maintain in these rooms. We have provided paper/plastic items for those items we no longer maintain. For all other dishware, you may leave the dishes for your housekeeper to clean and we will bill an extra $25 to your account. Please feel free to wash them yourselves at no charge. The FAMILY SUITES also feature fireplaces. Please use them responsibly. We provide one long burning log per day. Additional logs may be purchased at the front desk for a small charge. Please check the flue prior to lighting the fire. Anyone with smoke allergies should absolutely refrain from using the fireplace. If you have never used a fireplace, please ask the manager for instruction and help in lighting.
